Your homework this week is to write a diary entry for the day you went
on your school trip.

Friday 30th November 2012
Dear Diary,
I had the best day EVER today. I woke up
this morning, the sun was shining through the curtains and I could smell
breakfast cooking downstairs. I jumped
out of my bed, threw on my school clothes and skipped down to the kitchen.
A delicious breakfast of
pancakes with syrup was waiting for me on the table and I greedily gobbled it
down as quick as a flash. I grabbed my school bag, shouted, “Bye!” to my mum
and dashed out of the door to school.
When I arrived at school, my
teacher handed my homework back to me and a huge grin spread across her face.
Guess what? I got 20 out of 20! I couldn’t believe it! We had my best lessons
in the morning (Literacy and Geography).
Before I knew it, it was
lunchtime. The menu today was my favourite: spaghetti bolognese followed by chocolate
pudding – yum! The afternoon flew by, and we ended the school day with a really
fun game of dodgeball, and we all cheered our teams on (of course).
After school, I came
home and was met with the most amazing surprise; my mum told me that we were
going out to the cinema and to Pizza Hut for dinner. We had a fantastic time!
I’m sitting on my bed
writing this, remembering all the fun things that happened today. I hope
tomorrow is just as good!

Firstly,I woke up and smelt a delicious,juicy,sweet-smelling breakfast that awaited me.I quickly jumped out of bed and tidied it up neatly.Next I went to the toilet to brush my dirty teeth.after I finished brushing,I used mouthwash to make sure I smelled lovely!I quickly hopped into my school clothes and ran downstairs.I asked my mum what was for breakfast.She said that it was bread with jam.We rushed down the street to school and i got ready.It was going to be a fun day!

It has been one of my best days of the year.I woke up tired beacuse I woke up at 6:47!. Soon I turned on my pc and started to watch pokemon. 40 minutes later I hoped down the stairs and rapidly ate my magnificent breakfast and soon jumped into my saphire blue jumper and my wight T-shirt and my dark as night black trowsers. soon after me and my uncle traveld to school on our bikes. Shortly after we got there I said "Bye" to my uncle and quickly rushed inside to class and went to the toilet and we did the regester. sortly after we slowly went to the train station and we all got onto a pickadily line train and in a long time we were in hamersmith.When we got to hamersmith we went to tiny hut and lots of busy
people were working there and soon we got a big map that was fully coulored and we had to put some words were the places were and soon we did the same with a wight and black papered map and soon we had lunch. Later that day we set of to our first location st pauls chuch. Soon after we went to location two a housing place, resteront and church/religious place. Later we set of to location three wich I don't remember. Soon we went to location four a place wich had houses that were all called after girls.
Later we traveled to location five wich I don't remember the name but we rote down four things that were not allowd in the house. Next it was location six the river temes. A second after,we looked at a building that had lots of luxuries huts on water. Soon after we went under the bridge next to the river temese and soon saw a pub that was built after world war one and before world war two.and we made our own symbols and saw some amazing helicopters wich were used in world war one or two. After that we went back to the train station and quickly traveled home. My favorite part was when I saw the world war one or two helicopters it was the best ever. The bit that I think could have improved was when we were learning about maps. I would improve it by making it cleerer. I had no intresting parts.

DeleteFirst, we got everything ready. Then, we walked down a stinky lane as I held onto Eesha’s hand. After, we went to the train station and waited for ten minutes. We all got a biscuit and Cezar liked the taste of it so, he took approximately 10/11 minutes. When we finally got there, we walked sensibly to Urbanwise. Inside there was a small classroom and we learnt about the part around the River Thames. We had a few questions and I and my partner got number 7/8 surprisingly close to the answer. I felt extremely happy when I got back to class because I got changed for martial arts and relaxed and watched Horrid Henry. While we watched Horrid Henry, I daydreamed about what a fantabulous day we had! The best part was when I got back to class and I found the questions the interesting part. I had a great, awesome and super-duper day!

ReplyDeleteToday was the best day of my entire life. First I woke up on a nice day. I got ready and set out at 9.05. THE all class went to the tube. I was lucky got a space as the tube was crowded with thousands of people. We got out at the station of Hammersmith. I was very exited. We had to label things we saw on a map. We had a big lunch afterwords. Then we set out on a adventure to fill in sheets of super information.We where very lucky to see war helicopters,and wedding. I and Filip saw our friend from the shops.

This was the best day of this week. This was the day when we went to our school trip to London. I always get excited when we go to the big city. Love to travel through trains and see huge colourful buildings.
I was extremely excited, which is why I woke up early in the morning without Mum's help. Can you believe it! I got ready as fast I could, gobbled up my breakfast and dashed to school while Mum ran behind me. I just didn't want to be late for my trip. I was so thrilled that I could feel butterflies in my tummy.
In school our teachers prepared us for the journey. For safety reasons we had to wear wrist band and high vest. After brief instructions on saftey, we started off to the underground station. We walked past Inwood Park and bus garadge to reach the underground station. After waiting for few minutes we boarded the tube going towards Hammersmith.
At Hammersmith we go down and went into a building where lots of people were working. Inside the building a woman gave us the map of London and few cards. We had to name the places based on the cards given to us. We were the Map Detectives. Doing all that detective work made us hungry lions. So the teacher allowed us to eat our lunch. After munching on delicious food, we started off again.
We then went to St. Pauls Cathedral. We were given a sheet which had few questions on St. Paul's Cathedral. We had to work out answers from the clues given to us. It was fun!
After this we started back for our school. We again walked back to the tube station and boarded tube for Hounslow. All the way we kept on discussing and chatting about the things we did on the trip and pokemon. We played 'I spy...' and every time we went louder the teacher shushed louder. After reaching Hounslow, we got down and walked back to our school.
It was such a great day. I hope to go to another amazing trip soon!!!

After that,we ate our food.I had good stuff. Our whole afternoon was outside walking and awnsering questions.Then, we went on the tube.When we were in the classroom wen had milk and went home.

I HAD THE BEST DAY EVER!! I woke up to the sun shining like a light bulb in the skies. I instantly pounced out of my bed, got changed quickly and ran rapidly downstairs. After that, I hastily ate my amazing breakfast and I was all ready for school. As we sat in the classroom, the teacher said" WE'RE GOING ON A SCHOOL TRIP!!" I was extremely happy that we were going on a geography trip. Finally.
We sat down on our chairs for the register and each one of us was allocated in different groups. I was with my dad, along with Sofia, Cezar, Mardi, Raqib Ali and Fareeha. Afterwards, we all lined up to go to the Hounslow East train station. It felt like a long walk in the Saharan Desert. Before I knew it, we had arrived at Hammersmith and found a place where we could eat lunch because we were all starving. After everyone was full, we then went to different places where we did a number of activities and we also had a workshop where the people were talking and giving fascinating facts about geography. These activities mainly involved and tested us on map skills where we had to answer questions which were on the sheet and also draw, pin point the symbols which were on the maps.
After that, when all the activities were done; everyone including the teachers was exhausted from the trip so we decided to go back to school. When we arrived at school, we were allowed to go home with our parents or carers. So my dad and I went home. We then shared our day with my mum and my sisters.
Overall, the best part of this trip was when we went on the train because we played games which were very entertaining and enjoyable. The one thing I found interesting was the building where the workshop was taking place. This is because we learnt new facts about geography that we didn’t know before. However, I wanted to spend more time at Hammersmith because we didn’t get enough time to look at each area where we did the activities.
Hopefully we have another trip which is just as exciting as this one in the future!

ReplyDeleteToday was the best day ever because it was my trip today. First of all I woke up in a fresh new start and brushed my teeth, next I got my breakfast and gobbled it down. After that I got my bag ready and in it was my food. Finally, I got changed and walked to school. Miss Davies did the register then we went to the trip. We were waiting for the train. After some time, the train came and we all went inside. I was trying to be sensible and nice. Then we went out of the train. We met a woman there. She was telling us to put some cards on a map then we did. After that we got much of a shorter one with no painting. Finally we had lunch wich I had was jam sandwich and cheese sandwich, grapes, banana and apple. After that we did some papers and try and write down what we can see. Finally we went on the train and walked to Chatsworth Primary School. then played some games and after that it was home time.

My trip to Urbanwise{part two}
ReplyDeleteI then rushed inside the classroom and we did the register.Perfect!Everyone was there.We ran to the train station,then came the worst thing of all.....WAITING!It was super boring all the trains were full so we had to board the last one.Urggh!We finally arrived. Excluding the walk to the train station we had wasted half our time waiting.Well,at least we were their.We studied maps and answered some questions outside.We reached the river Thames in no time and got to see when it was built,in 1978.Then we went back to school in tube.That was a loooooooong day!!!

ReplyDeleteI had the best day EVER!!!!! today. Firstly I woke up at 7:30am as usual then I changed into my school clothes rapidly. I could see through my window a beautiful sunny day.I already felt a good day starting and I was looking forward to the trip scheduled with my school. Iate my delicious omelet for breakfast and not long afterwards my mum and I arrived at school. In the classroom we were handed our bright green vests, strapped our bands and we all took off to Hounslow East Station. My partner was Mahdi. When we arrived at the station we took a train to Hammersmith following a short walk to our destination. There we had a teacher called Mrs Moya. To catch out attention she asked some different questions and we did some activities afterwards. Actually we took a long trip to nine different locations. Before I realised Mrs Davies,our teacher was organising our way back to Hammersmith Station. We went back at the same route. Finally we’ve reached back to our school, where we had our milks and played heads down thumbs up. This amazing day have run out of time quite fast!Eventually I arrived home and I told myself:'what a beautiful day'

Dear delightful diary, My trip to Hammersmith was totally AMAZING!!!!!Hammersmith was really busy and we walked right through an office.First,we walked for hours and hours...then,we got on a train.Next,we walked a bit more.After that,we were at Hammersmith!When we where at Hammersmith,we were with a kind lady doing a fun activity!We were pretending we were detectives but, we weren't any detectives.We were...map detectives!After the activities were done we finally going back to the class.

ReplyDeletetoday was the best day ever. I wake up this morning, the sun was flying up in the blue sky. Then I went down to have my favourite breakfast, pancake. After that I went
to school at 8:45am. I waited outside until the teacher open the door. Next, we entered the classroom and she did the registrar. after that, we prepared to the trip and we walked all the way to Hounslow west train station. we had to wait for our train when we got to the centre, we went outside and every one had 2 maps; one had labels and the other one was coloured in and we had to put the labels in the white place.
then, we went to different places in hammersmith as hammersmith bridge and it was my favorite place because it looks very cool.
Next, we had a go on the compasses.1 minute later, we went back to the train station and get our rain and come back to school where i had a new story book and finally, we went home.
