We have had a lot of
fun this week discussing the heroes/heroines and beasts you might find in a
legend. For your homework, I'd like you to write four sentences to describe
your hero or heroine and four sentences to describe your beast.
Have a look at this example:
The ferocious dragon roared menacingly. (adjective- noun- verb-adverb)
You might like to practise using this sentence structure. Have a look at the word bank for ideas and the pictures for inspiration. I'm looking forward to reading your descriptions!

The terrifying beast energetically swung it's deadly clubbed tail.
The striking beast viciously stared with eyes like fire that could shockingly pierce your soul.
The shocking beast silently ran as fast as the speed of light.

Chimera ! The Beast
ReplyDeleteChimera was a menacing beast with a lion in the front, goat in the middle and snake in the tail. He snorted out breath of terrifying flame of bright red fire. The Chimera's fur is as rough as 1000 prickly pins. Its tail is a snake and that swirls viciously like spaghetti. Ferociously it roars out in the night. His teeth are white and sharp as the icicles.
The Hero ! St. George
St. George was a fearless soldier saint from the middle ages. He is careful wherever he goes. He had strength of 1000 elephants and a fist as strong as metal. He smartly spied on the spiky dragon to figure out how to defeat him. He swung his sword as fast as lightening and struck his sword into the ferocious beast.

Medusa was very smelly and she was ferocious.
Medusa was evil and she liked turning people into stone quickly.
Medusa tricked people to make them look into her eyes to turn them into stone.
Medusa terrified the whole kingdom so that she could one day rule the land.
Medusa had very big snakes on her head, which snakes bit anyone she went near quickly.
Hydra she was very smelly and she had red eyes.

It is keen to achieve its goal ‘to kill Sir Lancelot’ with its piercing claws.
Sadly, its heart is filled with revenge for the king of Hindustan (India)
Badly, its personality is short-tempered and naughty, and he hates everyone.
Hero= Sir Lancelot
Sir Lancelot is an ingenious and clever prince.
He is filled with courage and always determined.
His personality is heroic, pleasant and he never gives up.
Also, he has faith in himself and believes ‘good can triumph over evil’.
